  1. Ebay and Amazon seem to lead the online world when it comes to shopping around on the internet. Are there ways to incorporate Ebay into a website that can generate income? With Amazon there is the affiliate links but is it the same with Ebay? I am unclear on the subject and would appreciate some feedback.

  2. Thanks for the list. I’m surprised you didn’t include MaxBounty in your list. They’ve been around for many years and have some great offers. So you may want to check them out. They also have a nice referral program for recruiting other affiliates so you can add it to your list and make some commission if someone joins maxbounty under you. Just a thought. 😉

  4. I personally use a few of these myself. Within the list I’d say linkshare (rakuten), shareasale, and commission junction are my favourite. Linkshare in particular, just because of their user interface and ease of payment i.e. paypal. Clickbank has had tremendous success and made a lot of people very wealthy individuals. I just don’t get it however.

Among those that you haven’t described I use Markethealth which is good for health products. Have you heard about them? If yes, what do you think about them?

  8. Hi Rean,

Thanks for your in-depth review regarding becoming an Affiliate Marketer.

I would like to work from home now and I have become very interested in an Affiliate marketing role.

I have looked into the Amazon affiliate role and I think the commissions are pretty good.

But looking at Clickbank, wow, 75%, that’s an unbelievable commission. I never knew that.

Apart from eBay, I haven’t heard of the others, so thanks for the information.

Do you think Amazon is a good first step into an Affiliate Marketing role.

    Thanks for your time,

    Simon.

    • Hi Simon,
Thanks for reading my article and for taking time to leave a comment. I am so grateful for your positive contribution. I am also glad you found the information useful.

I have been an amazon affiliate for a few years now and their commissions rates have greatly improved over time. I know most people find it a good program to join.. It’s white hat and one of the biggest platforms out there. Clickbank is said to be good too but one sometimes gets some negative feedbacks from users.. So i think it’s upto the individual to do some due diligence and decide on course of action or on their products to promote on there.
Wish you all the best in your affiliate marketing endeavors

  9. Absolutely superb!!! I have bookmarked this page as a staple go-to information mine.
Some of the writing is heavy going as there is so much of it, at times the paragraphs seem way too long which could put people off. Very often people prefer the short, sharp bullet pointed contact BUT it is all essential reading. Really looking forward to pouring over it in detail!
